Scott has more than a decade of experience developing policy in the energy sector. During this period, Scott has held senior positions in the Queensland Government and been responsible for developing two flagship energy strategies including the Queensland Renewable Energy Plan and the Queensland Energy Management Plan. Before embarking on a PhD in 2014, Scott was leading development of Queensland's first 30 Year Electricity Strategy to define the vision and set the roadmap to achieve the state's long-term energy objectives. Scott is now focused on his PhD research aimed at integrating household-level solar and battery storage into existing electricity supply systems to achieve efficient and sustainable whole-of-system outcomes.
